Is it better to backpack with a tent or a hammock?
A backpacking tent provides good protection, privacy and storage, and they’re getting lighter and more packable every day. They can’t quite compete with the light weight of camping hammocks, however, which don’t even require level ground for sleeping and are easy to set up, for a much lower price.
