Can awnings handle heavy rain?
While you should be fine using your SunShade retractable awning in some levels of rain and snow, we don’t recommend using it in monsoon-level weather or during a snowstorm that is dropping six to seven inches of snow. Light flurries are fine, but any weather worse than that, don’t risk it — just retract the awning.
